Fred Perry x Drakes Clothing: Blank Canvas

In an exciting new collaboration, two of Britain’s finest menswear brands – Fred Perry and Drake’s – team up to release the ‘Blank Canvas’ collection. Two true heritage brands that are renowned for their high quality, traditional design principles, the new capsule collection sees the release of a selection of classic Fred Perry products, which are complemented by some of Drake’s signature archive prints.

With the industry only set to build on this year’s prominent prints and patterns trend in 2013, this new range offers the modern gent a more refined and overall subtle way of showing an appreciation of current menswear influences – in stark contrast to some of the wild and garish garments on the high street at present.

The collection consists of 9 individual pieces, which range from all over print shirts – for those that like to stand out – to more subtly detailed styles, where prints have either been applied tonally or to small sections such as plackets, collars and linings. Accessories and footwear are also available, with the silk paisley print scarf being a particular highlight and a worthy investment.

Overall, this is a distinctly British collection that is the epitome of modern British elegance. So why not refresh your current smart-casual looks and add one or two of these limited edition pieces to your wardrobe this season?

You can shop the full collection now on the Fred Perry Laurel Wreath website.
